Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager at eGain, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives by qualifying inbound marketing leads. You will use the MEDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure that leads handed over to our Client Directors are high quality and have a strong potential for conversion.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification:

o   Analyze inbound leads with MEDDIC.

o   Customize presentations and document needs.

o   Nurture leads, conduct eGain demos.

o   Hand off qualified leads, and manage mid-market opportunities.

  • Collaboration:

o   Coordinate with marketing.

o   Provide feedback, and collaborate with Client Directors.

  • Market Research:

o   Maintain accurate records.

o   Track metrics, and analyze trends.

  • Market Research:

o   Stay updated on trends, and competitors.

o   Use insights for qualification.

  • Continuous Improvement:

o   Refine the process, and learn continuously.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales or business development background, preferably in SaaS or tech.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on results.
