Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Worldwide Sales to lead our SaaS sales initiatives at eGain. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding market share globally. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, a proven track record of scaling sales teams, and a passion for leveraging AI and technology to transform customer service operations.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with eGain’s business objectives and growth targets.
  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective pipeline management, strategic account planning, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product management, and customer success teams.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new markets, verticals, and geographies, establishing eGain as the preferred choice for AI-powered knowledge management solutions.
  • Sales Operations: Implement and optimize sales processes, metrics, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to inform sales strategies and product roadmap decisions.

Education and Experience

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing global sales teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI, SaaS, and enterprise software solutions, particularly in customer service or knowledge management domains.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse, geographically dispersed team.
  • Strategic Vision: Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about understanding customer challenges and delivering solutions that drive tangible business outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Compensation

  • The base salary range is $225,000 to $300,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to individual and company performance.

  • Restricted stock or stock option grants, subject to company policies and performance.
