Job Summary

We are seeking a Test Automation Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, emphasizing modern testing methodologies and tools. A deep understanding of software testing practices and a commitment to delivering high-quality software are crucial for this role.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement robust automated testing frameworks/solutions for product testing.
• Define the overall test automation strategy in collaboration with development and QA teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of automation engineers, setting up best practices, coding standards, code review guidelines and automation techniques.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate test automation tools and technologies.
• Ensure selected tools align with project requirements and long-term strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks to support various testing types (functional, non-functional covering both UI and API).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with software developers to align automated testing strategies with development processes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Test tool and framework development with a strong emphasis on product test automation.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and containerization, CICD practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing UI test automation frameworks using modern tools and technologies.
• Proven track record in developing automated API testing solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
