Overview

eGain for Marketing combines conversational and agentic AI, knowledge management, and analytics capabilities of the eGain solution to automate the Marketing knowledge management process and deliver trusted, consumable information and content, based on a single source of truth.

Key capabilities

1. Brand-align content

  • Create and maintain a centralized and trusted set of brand guidelines, tone and brand voice documents, style guides, campaign messaging, tagline libraries, approved slogans, and more
  • Draft new content and repurpose existing content with AI assistance
  • When writers, designers or agencies create new content, the AI Agent can auto-suggest appropriate brand voice, ensure messaging consistency, flag deprecated or non-approved phrases, or pull in approved taglines/templates.

2. Content Governance, Review & Compliance

  • The solution supports content workflows: approval chains, versioning, expert in-loop review (e.g., legal, compliance, SEO). It can also tag content by region, regulatory domain, and more.
  • The AI Agent can enforce or remind marketers about compliance checkpoints (e.g., “This claim needs a source reference,” “Check local regulatory disclaimer for region X”) when content is drafted. It can also suggest updates when brand policy or regulations change. This reduces compliance risk and improves speed to publish.

3. Ideate, plan, and analyze campaigns

  • Store past campaign briefs, performance results, creative assets, competitor analyses, influencer engagements, and more in one place. Tag by product, audience, channel, objective, and more.
  • Support brainstorming and ideation with relevant information, examples and insights. For example, marketing teams can query via AI Agent: “Show me the highest performance campaigns for financial services for solution X in region Y?”
  • Maintain trusted, up-to-date campaign content libraries searchable by content type, product, past success, customer stage in the buying process, and more. Find outdated, conflicting, or duplicate information and create content update tasks with compliant workflows for approvals.
  • Create and maintain best-practice campaign playbooks and content pertaining to thought leadership, product capabilities, or promotions that are searchable by product, objectives, geography, touchpoints, results, and more.

4. PR / Crisis Communications Knowledge and Playbooks

  • Maintain PR playbooks, media contact lists, and response templates in a central Hub.
  • When a media query or issue arises, the AI Agent can pull up relevant playbooks, suggest draft responses or align responses with the correct tone, legal/regulatory constraints, and brand policy. This ensures faster, consistent, and compliant responses in PR emergencies or media engagements.
