APQC Reports: The Great Retirement
Every year, 3.6 million baby boomers are exiting the workforce with their retirement cresting in 2025. With this “Great Retirement,” also called “The Silver Tsunami,” Organizations face an imminent risk of losing critical institutional knowledge. While leadership is aware of the issue, many still lack consistent strategies to capture, retain, and transfer the departing expertise.
