POSITION:  REGIONAL HEAD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (UK AND EU)

Job Summary

The Regional Head of Professional Services will lead and manage the professional services team within the UK and EU. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of services to clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in professional services, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professional services consultants, project managers, and other related staff.
    • Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional and company-wide goals.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute a regional strategy for professional services that aligns with the company’s overall objectives.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to expand the professional services portfolio.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to support business development efforts.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of professional services projects within the region.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
    • Implement and maintain best practices for project management and service delivery.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the regional professional services budget, including forecasting and reporting.
    • Monitor and control project costs to ensure profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance and initiatives.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects and teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
