Job Summary

Our ideal candidate must have had a good experience with contact center solution providers like Avaya, Genesys, and others, and knowledge of other leading contact center solutions. This role will be high-touch and high-visibility where the candidate will work with contact center solution providers and authorized technology partners (ATPs) to generate a pipeline. The channel director will drive engagement, business value, and sales enablement, and maximize the potential of the partnership. The candidate must be confident about customers’ journeys with contact center solutions while keeping the focus on the value eGain provides in digital customer engagement.


  • Execute, manage, and deliver against America’s channel pipeline and bookings targets
  • Develop GTM plans and develop channel-specific plans for driving growth
  • Conduct regular sales cadence between contact center solution providers’ executives (all levels), ATPs, and other stakeholders
  • Oversee lead generation strategy to generate qualified prospects for the channel organization
  • Maintain pipeline and dashboards that communicate to executive leadership the effectiveness of identified programs and investments
  • Present eGain solutions and benefits to contact center solution providers, partners, and prospects alike, driving business-level outcomes to progress opportunities through the funnel
  • Form strategic alliances with key stakeholders and internal teams

Education and Experience

  • 8+ years of strong working knowledge and experience in voice or contact center solutions and technologies
  • 4+ years of experience managing (leading) deep distribution relationships (OEM, Resell, Co-sell) and complementary technology providers (e.g., Avaya, Genesys)
  • Relevant sector experience from a company such as Avaya or Genesys would be an advantage
