eGain’s Max Fiszer to address critical customer care issues in doing business on the web at CT Expo in Los Angeles March 5 and 6

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – March 4, 2002 — Max Fiszer, vice president of marketing, eGain Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: EGAN), a global provider of eService software, will speak at two sessions at CT Expo, a showcase for converging communications technologies, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles March 5 and 6.

In his first session, “Integrating Calls and Clicks: Establishing the Multi-Media Contact Center,” March 5, Fiszer will address issues of customer care during the introduction of converging communications technologies. He will serve on a panel with David Fuller, director of marketing, Interactive Intelligence; and James K. Watson, Jr., president and CEO, Doculabs, Inc., moderated by Joe Fleischer, chief technical editor, Call Center Magazine.

In Fiszer’s second session, “The Evolution of Customer Service,” March 6, he will discuss how natural language “virtual agents” help fulfill the wireless promise of more efficient access to customer services. Fiszer will be featured on a panel in the wireless market track with Eli Borodow, president, Telephony@Work Inc., also moderated by Call Center Magazine’s Fleischer.

Fiszer is responsible for eGain’s worldwide marketing activities. He holds a B.S. degree in mathematics from City University of New York and was a Sloan Fellow at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Fiszer has written a number of published articles on call centers and computer telephony, and he is the recipient of various industry awards.
