Analyze systems implementation requirements and perform project tasks pertaining to customer deployments including, but not limited to, knowledge acquisition, requirements gathering, process identification, training, as well as testing systems, the documentation of all tests, and the identification of areas for increased efficiencies; Produce high quality system design and configurations plans; Produce SOWs (Statement of Works) indicating cost to implement; Gather customers/ prospective customers’ requirements and provide feedback regarding best practices and respond to potential customer’s RFPs (Requests for Proposals) completing questionnaires and gathering needed internal documentation; Analyze the efficiency of new system by monitoring remotely usability, recommend best practices in usage, and how to improve workflows, and make internal recommendations for future design enhancements by eGain; and Conduct oral and written internal and external presentations. This position may involve some brief, short-term business travel.

Overall, eGain Systems Implementation Analysts are responsible for gathering technical requirements of the users’ infrastructures, and process identification in order to successfully deploy contact center applications such as email management, call tracking, and Chat, and, are responsible for creating implementation procedures to interoperate client’s system with eGain’s suite of software products.

Job requirements for all job openings


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronics, Computer Science or related degree or its foreign equivalency


  • Minimum of five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience working with system implementation and testing including a minimum of three (3) years of experience in call center technologies

Knowledge / skills

  • Knowledge of design and development using one or more technologies such as JAVA, C, and/or C++ and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Solaris
  • Knowledge of application servers such as WebLogic and/or JBoss
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle and MSSQL
  • Knowledge of tools such as PLSQL developer, Remote Desktop, VNC, SQL Profiler, etc. is a plus
