SEC and Technical Accounting Manager

We are currently looking for SEC and Technical Accounting Manager to be a part of our finance team at the HQ in Sunnyvale, CA.


Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Experience: 6 to 10 years

Job description

  • Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings on Form 10-Q/K; Compile and draft financials, footnote disclosures and MD&A; Prepare supporting tie-out packages; Manage internal and external review for these documents
  • Prepare quarterly earnings release; Assist in preparation of earnings Q&A
  • Assist in technical accounting research; Monitor development in accounting and financial reporting, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner
  • Assist in quarterly stock-based compensation accounting and financial reporting
  • Ensure SOX compliance around financial reporting and equity accounting; Maintain and update control documentations
  • Assist in implementing new accounting standards and practices, and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
  • Assist in various ad hoc projects, such as, equity system implementation, proxy statements preparation and process improvement


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and CPA
  • 4+ years of experience (including Big 4 experience is a plus)
  • Proven knowledge of US GAAP
  • SEC reporting experience
  • Technical accounting research experience
  • Adaptive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Self-motivated, “roll-up-the-sleeves” approach to accomplishing all necessary tasks
  • Ability and desire to build and cultivate strong relationships with team members and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to take ownership and adhere to critical deadlines
  • Detail-oriented; strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to strategize solutions and solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills required, including proficiency in Excel
  • Merrill and NetSuite experience are a plus
